The Night and Limited Visibility Diver course teaches you how to safely navigate and explore underwater environments after dark or when visibility is reduced. You will develop strong communication skills, light handling techniques, and the ability to maintain orientation and awareness in challenging conditions.

• Planning and executing night dives
• Using primary and backup dive lights effectively
• Buddy communication and light‑based signaling
• Navigation techniques in low‑visibility environments
• Managing depth, time, and buoyancy without visual references

This specialty includes eLearning, instructor‑led review, and open water training dives conducted after sunset or in limited visibility conditions. You will learn how to prepare equipment, plan safe entries and exits, and maintain situational awareness throughout the dive.

Prerequisites: Minimum age 18 (or 10 with parental consent); SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent.

Required gear: Full scuba kit including exposure protection, primary and backup dive lights, surface signaling devices, and a cutting tool. Additional equipment may be recommended based on conditions.
