Who We Are
OCD Divers is a modern home‑based dive shop in Colleyville, Texas. We combine online convenience with in‑person support and serve divers across Dallas, Fort Worth, West Texas, and beyond. Our facility has been recognized as one of SDI’s Top Performing Facilities in both 2024 and 2025.
Since 2009, we have focused on safe, student‑centered instruction that prepares divers for lifelong adventure. Our approach is built on clarity, transparency, and convenience. Real‑time online inventory and our weekender certification model make scuba training accessible for today’s families and individual divers.

Training Philosophy
Our primary training partner is SDI, Scuba Diving International. SDI certifications are accepted at dive shops, resorts, and liveaboards around the world. SDI is a member of the RSTC, the international council that sets global scuba training and safety standards alongside agencies such as SSI, PSS, and NAUI.
SDI is approved by Scouting America and accepted at Sea Base. As an SDI facility, OCD Divers certifies Scouts every year who attend Sea Base programs with confidence.
For divers who prefer the PADI pathway, we offer private PADI certification sessions upon request through instructor credentials — without being a PADI facility.

Youth & Scouting Programs
OCD Divers has supported youth and Scouting programs since 2009. We provide safe and structured scuba training for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA Troops, Sea Scout Ships, Venturing Crews, Explorer Posts, Girl Scouts USA, Trail Life USA, and American Heritage Girls.
Families and youth divers from across Texas and surrounding states choose our convenient weekender certification model. Our private pavilion at The Scuba Ranch includes shaded space, a fire ring, and lakefront access — an ideal setup for Scout units and families who want to add a scuba campout to their program.
During the winter months, we teach at Balmorhea State Park, where campsites are available within walking distance of the water. Certified Scouts, leaders, and family members can rent gear for fun dives, making scuba weekends simple and enjoyable.
We work with individual divers of all ages. Our most meaningful groups are families certifying together — scuba strengthens communication, builds confidence, and creates memories that last a lifetime.

A Modern Home‑Based Dive Shop
We are open about being a home‑based dive shop because it is one of our greatest strengths. Students can sign up for classes online, purchase a gear package, and choose virtual or in‑person shopping appointments.
After sign‑up, we send all required forms and eLearning digitally. This gives every student a clear and convenient start to their training, whether they are local or traveling in from out of town.

Where We Train
Referral versions of the Open Water class, refreshers, discovery programs, and snorkeling classes take place in our pool in Colleyville. All full Open Water certifications are completed entirely on site.
May through October: The Scuba Ranch — featuring an on‑site pool, private pavilion, fire ring, and varied dive environments.
November through April: Balmorhea State Park — warm, clear water with campsites near the water.
With on‑site pools and organized spaces for briefings and gear setup, divers complete their entire certification in one weekend without commuting between facilities. Both locations support camping, making them ideal for families and youth programs.

Gear, Service & Air Systems
OCD Divers offers gear sales, rentals, equipment servicing, and on‑site air support. Our shop carries one of the largest in‑stock selections of key diving gear in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
We keep more than two hundred masks, one hundred and thirty fins, and more than one hundred boots in stock. We also carry more than one hundred wetsuits in different styles and sizes. This level of availability is rare in the dive industry and allows divers to find the right fit without waiting for orders or guessing at sizes.
