OCD Divers is a modern, home‑based dive shop in Colleyville, Texas, serving divers across Dallas, Fort Worth, West Texas, and surrounding regions. We combine online convenience with personal support, offering a streamlined experience for busy adults, youth divers, and families training together.

Our facility has been recognized as one of SDI’s Top Performing Facilities in both 2024 and 2025. Since 2009, we have focused on safe, student‑centered instruction that prepares divers for lifelong adventure. Our approach is built on clarity, transparency, and convenience — with real‑time online inventory, flexible scheduling, and a weekender certification model designed for modern families.

Parents and siblings are welcome at every step of the journey. Many families choose to certify together, building confidence, communication, and shared memories that last long after training is complete.

We welcome divers from every background, identity, and family structure — LGBTQ+ divers, multilingual families, and people from all cultural and ethnic communities. Whether you’re training on your own or alongside parents, siblings, or chosen family, you’ll find a respectful, inclusive environment where everyone belongs.

Our primary training partner is SDI, Scuba Diving International. SDI certifications are accepted worldwide at dive shops, resorts, and liveaboards. As a member of the RSTC, SDI follows the same global training and safety standards as SSI, NAUI, PSS, and other major agencies.

For divers who prefer the PADI pathway, we offer private PADI certification sessions through instructor credentials — without being a PADI facility. This gives families and individual divers the flexibility to choose the pathway that fits their goals.

OCD Divers has supported youth and family scuba programs since 2009. We work with Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA Troops, Sea Scout Ships, Venturing Crews, Explorer Posts, Girl Scouts USA, Trail Life USA, and American Heritage Girls — always with a focus on safety, clarity, and family involvement.

Parents and siblings are encouraged to train alongside youth divers. Many families choose to certify together, building confidence, communication, and shared experiences that last long after training is complete.

Our home‑based model allows us to focus on instruction, safety, and personal support rather than retail overhead. Students can sign up for classes online, purchase gear and gift certificates, and choose virtual or in‑person shopping appointments.

All required forms and eLearning are delivered digitally after sign‑up, giving every student a clear and convenient start to their training — whether they are local or traveling from across Texas.

Families appreciate the flexibility, privacy, and individualized attention that a home‑based model provides. It allows us to meet students where they are and support them throughout their diving journey.

Pool‑Only Programs (Colleyville): Snorkeler, Future Buddies, Scuba Discovery, refreshers, referral versions of Open Water, private pool‑only sessions, and Advanced Buoyancy (offered in the pool or at our lake sites depending on season and class format).

Full Open Water Certifications: These programs are completed entirely on‑site in a single weekend — no commuting between facilities.

May through October: The Scuba Ranch — featuring an on‑site pool, private pavilion, fire ring, and varied dive environments. Many families choose our Weekender format for a predictable, efficient certification experience.

November through April: Balmorhea State Park — warm, clear water with campsites near the water. Certified youth, parents, and siblings can rent gear for fun dives, making winter weekends simple and enjoyable.

OCD Divers offers gear sales, rentals, equipment servicing, and on‑site air support. We maintain one of the largest in‑stock selections of essential diving gear in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

We keep more than two hundred masks, one hundred and thirty fins, and more than one hundred boots in stock — along with over one hundred wetsuits in multiple styles and sizes. This level of availability allows divers to find the right fit without waiting for orders.

We operate a full industrial scuba compressor and air management system that ensures clean and reliable fills for every dive.
