Become a Certified Open Water Diver in Three Steps: Knowledge Development, Skills Development, and Open Water Verification. 

We offer several group classes: traditional two weekend, express one weekend, executive fully loaded, or we can set-up a private class  tailored to meet your and your dive buddies' needs. Gain confidence to avoid problems before they happen and be ready to help if and when a difficult situation arises when diving. This is a great course for friends or family members to take together so they are ready to support one another should a need arise. See what's included below for gear information.  Must be an Advanced Open Water Diver and have current CPR and First Aid certification within the past two years or add the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Course, which can be completed the same weekend at the lake. Minimum age: 12 with Advanced Open Water Certification.

The air in our atmosphere is approximately 79% nitrogen (N2) and 21% oxygen (O2). An enriched air tank contains air blended with pure O2, typically increasing O2 between 32% to 36%. Absorbing less N2 while diving greatly diminishes post-dive fatigue. Dive longer, more safely, and feel more energized so you can enjoy all of your vacation time! We can conduct this class concurrently with Open Water Diver, as part of Advanced Open Water, or separately. Training dives are not required, so we can even meet for coffee and complete this certification whenever and wherever it is convenient. Ages 15 and up.

 As the saying goes, leave only bubbles and take only pictures! It is easy and fun to capture images and videos of your underwater scuba diving adventures. This is a two-dive specialty, with the first dive either in a pool or lake. This class also features a workshop to download photos from the camera to your smart phone, edit, save to Dropbox, and if you want, share to social media. Camera rental is included.  Christopher wrote this distinctive specialty so it is a rare certification to obtain! The course includes diving four different dive sites within the state of Texas or in a vessel launched from a Texas shore. Each dive location must be at least 25 miles apart. You'll learn the history of the sites and get a dive-site orientation for each place visited.

 The thought of dipping below the surface at night seems mysterious, yet so alluring. Although you've been scuba diving at a site many times before, at night you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. The scene changes as day creatures retire and nocturnal organisms emerge. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, sign up! Dive light rental is $30 if needed and see what's included for other gear information. This is a three dive specialty typically conducted in one evening, starting diving at twilight, and ending around 10 PM. Open to Certified Divers aged 12 and up.

 It happens: People accidentally drop things from docks, off boats or even while scuba diving. If you've ever lost something in the water and wanted to go find it, then the PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course is for you. There are effective ways to search for objects underwater that increase your chances of success and good and better methods to bring up small, large or just awkward items. Search and recovery can be challenging, but a whole lot of fun. Use of lift bags and ropes are provided for use and please see what's included for other gear. This is a two-day four-dive specialty. Open to Advanced Open Water Divers aged 12 and up.

Take the PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty course and you'll see new things, even on the most familiar scuba diving sites. Why? Because when know more about symbioses, underwater ecology, and aquatic plant and animal habitats, you notice behaviors and see creatures you may have previously missed. This is a two dive specialty conducted on one lake day. Open to Certified Divers aged 10 and up.

 Much of the world's best scuba diving is accessible only by boat. Whether you've never made a boat dive or you've logged dozens, the PADI Boat Diver Specialty course will benefit you because boats in various parts of the world do things differently. Scuba diving from a boat is fun and relatively easy because you usually descend directly onto your dive site. This specialty requires two dives completed locally at Twin Vee Key with a  $10 boat fee payable at the park.  Please see what's included for gear information.
