Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you've spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures. Every diver, who is at least 12 years old, should aim for Master Scuba Diver. The path starts with earning a Open Water certification, followed by Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver. You also need to earn five PADI specialty certifications and have logged a minimum of 50 dives.
The air in our atmosphere is approximately 79% nitrogen (N2) and 21% oxygen (O2). An enriched air tank contains air blended with pure O2, typically increasing O2 between 32% to 36%. Absorbing less N2 while diving greatly diminishes post-dive fatigue. Dive longer, more safely, and feel more energized so you can enjoy all of your vacation time! We can conduct this class concurrently with Open Water Diver, as part of Advanced Open Water, or separately. Training dives are not required, so we can even meet for coffee and complete this certification whenever and wherever it is convenient. Ages 15 and up.
This specialty will equip you with better control in the water, advanced techniques, more confidence, and a strong ability to protect the underwater aquatic environment. We can combine with Open Water Diver, as part of Advanced Open Water, or as a stand-alone course. It is only two dives so we can do this in one day at a local lake when convenient. The thought of dipping below the surface at night seems mysterious, yet so alluring. Although you've been scuba diving at a site many times before, at night you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. The scene changes as day creatures retire and nocturnal organisms emerge. If you've wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, sign up! Dive light rental is $30 if needed and see what's included for other gear information. This is a three dive specialty typically conducted in one evening, starting diving at twilight, and ending around 10 PM. Open to Certified Divers aged 12 and up.
Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices. As an intro to cave diver, Christopher really enjoys teaching students how to be safe in an overhead environment. You will learn advanced buoyancy techniques, how to penetrate a wreck safely, and how to use specialized equipment such as reels and finger spools, which are provided for use, but please see what's included for other gear. This is a fantastic two-day four-dive course! Open to Advanced Open Water divers aged 15 and up.
