Join this exclusive OCD Divers drive and dive trip to dive the Valhalla missile silo
The silo is outside the city limits of Abelene, only 200 miles from DFW airport.  Click here for a location map and driving directions. 

$230 per person admission, which includes:

• Two days diving
• Altitude Diver certification
• Up to four air fills (additional air fills $12 each)

Dive Times:

• Saturday April 12 - 8 AM to 5 PM
• Sunday April 13 - 8 AM to Noon

Diver Certifiation Requirements:

• Open Water diver (limited to 60') - minimum level required before travel (There's an option to certify in March to be prepared). We will offer reactivation prior to travel also.
• Advanced Open Water (limited to 100') - can be completed on this trip
• Recommended: Deep Diver (130') 

Diving conditions:

• 130 feet deep
• 60 degrees (5-7mm wetsuit and hood are required)
• 70 degrees air temperature

Travel, meals, gear, and accommodations are not included. Divers must dive with a buddy. Depth limit for the first dive of Altitude or Multi-Level is 100'. Enriched Air is recommended but there are limited tanks available for use during the weekend. 

Gear Options (delivered to the dive site for you):

• 32% Enriched Air Tank - $30 each (limited availability - no fills, one use)
• Weekend air tank use  - $40 each
• BCD/Computer/Regulator use - $100
• Mask/Fins/Snorkel/Booties use - $60
• Weekend 5mm (3mm with shorty over) westuist and hood use - $75
• Dive Torch use - $30

SDI Certifications offered:

• Altitude Diver - (2 dives) - $0 (free with trip)
• Deep Diver - (2 dives)  - $249.99
• Advanced Adventurer Diver (Alt+4 dives) - $319.99
• Enriched Air Diver (no dives, but you can rent EAN and dive it) - $219.99 book eLearning

Stay locally or stay on site:

• Primitive camping - $25 pp (you bring all of your own camping gear - tents or car camp only, no RVs/Trailers)
• Small RV or trailer camping - $100, must arrive Friday after 6 PM, no hookups. 
• Queen bed in the silo Friday or Saturday night - $125, one or two peple - this is the price for the bed for a night

Refund policy - because OCD Divers has to pre-pay for the property rental, once you have a spot, it is yours. OCD Divers cannot offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to illness, weather, or opting out of dives. OCD Divers reserves the right to cancel the trip for participants who have missed payment deadlines. In that case, payments made are not refundable.

We strongly advise purchasing dive accident and insurance through Dive Assure.

There are only five beds offered on a first-come first claimed basis, so you'll want to book right away if staying on site.

Complete these steps:

1. Complete the diver's information form for each person attending if you haven't already completed when taking a class with OCD Divers. This is needed for contact and certification information.
2. You'll get releases via email - please complete within 24 hours of receipt.
