DFW Dive Shops That Have Closed

A clear, respectful guide for divers whose shop closed — and where to continue your training today.

A New Home for DFW Divers

Dive shops across Dallas and Fort Worth have closed their doors. Blue Sea Adventures in Garland closed in March 2023. Arlington Scuba closed in August 2023. Dive West in Dallas closed in October 2024. Grapevine Scuba closed in June 2025. ScubaToys in Carrollton closed in January 2026.

If that is you, you are not finished. You are not former. You are still a diver.

OCD Divers in Colleyville was built for divers who refuse to let their obsession fade just because a shop went dark. We are a modern, home‑based dive shop that exists for people who want to keep diving, keep learning, and keep getting better.

If your old shop closed, welcome home.

We offer SDI and PSS training, PADI classes through special arrangement, full air support, and in‑stock gear.

Safety, Stability, and Continuing Your Training

When a dive shop closes, the hardest part is losing the structure and predictability you trusted. OCD Divers was built around clarity, consistency, and a training environment where nothing is left to chance.

What To Do If Your Shop Closed

  • Bring any certification cards or digital records you have.
  • Tell us where you left off in training.
  • We will verify your level and place you into the correct next step.
  • You will not repeat training you already completed.

How to Transfer Your Training

  • Tell us your last completed course.
  • Show any cards, e‑records, or emails you have.
  • We place you directly into the correct next level.

Your certifications still count. You do not lose progress when a shop closes.
