Computer Nitrox Diver
The SDI Computer Nitrox Diver Course teaches you how to safely plan and dive using Enriched Air Nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen. Nitrox allows divers to extend bottom time, reduce nitrogen exposure, and enjoy more flexibility in their dive profiles. This course is classroom-based and includes hands-on practice with analyzers and dive computers.

Program Overview
The Computer Nitrox Diver Course is one of the most valuable continuing education programs for recreational divers. It is ideal for travel, repetitive diving, liveaboards, and anyone who wants to maximize bottom time while reducing nitrogen exposure. No in‑water training is required.
Prerequisites: SDI, PADI, SSI, NAUI, PSS, or other internationally recognized Open Water Diver certification.
Minimum age: 18, or 10 with parental consent.
Required gear: No scuba equipment is required. All analyzers and training materials are provided.
Where Training Takes Place
Training takes place at OCD Divers in Colleyville and includes eLearning, hands‑on tank analysis, and dive computer workshops.
Additional training environments may include:
- Our pool in Colleyville
- May–October at The Scuba Ranch
- November–April at Balmorhea State Park
- On OCD Divers trips
