This program develops your leadership abilities, expands your diving knowledge, and prepares you to supervise certified divers and assist instructors during training. What You’ll Learn
This course follows SDI standards and provides the knowledge and skills required to function as a professional dive leader:

Program Overview
The SDI Divemaster Course includes academic development, confined water skill refinement, and extensive open water training. Candidates complete leadership evaluations, stamina assessments, rescue scenarios, and practical sessions assisting with real student divers. This program prepares you for work in dive centers, on dive boats, and at resorts worldwide.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 18
- SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent
- SDI Rescue Diver or equivalent
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider certifications
- Minimum 40 logged dives to begin training
- Minimum 60 logged dives for certification
- SDI Deep Diver
- SDI Search & Recovery Diver
- SDI Night & Limited Visibility Diver
Required gear: A complete set of personal scuba equipment suitable for local training conditions, including exposure protection, cutting tools, surface signaling devices, and a dive computer. Additional professional‑level gear may be required.
